Hi, I’m Renan Sorato. I’ve started working for Insinööritoimisto Kimmo Kaitila Oy (which is part of RE Group) in January 2016. In the autumn of the same year, whilst continuing to work, I began my master’s degree studies of Building Technology at Aalto University, and I graduated as an engineer (diplomi-insinööri) in 2019. Through these studies I gained further knowledge of different disciplines within civil and structural engineering, focusing on the design of concrete, steel and wood structures. I have been able to channel this expertise into various challenging projects presented to me at RE Group, such as the structural design of schools, industrial and residential buildings. We have a very experienced and talented team of structural designers and this presents the opportunity to learn something new from each other every day.
